New to the pipes?
So you love Scottish music but have never played the pipes. No problem!
The Great Highland Bagpipe – as it’s officially known – isn’t the easiest instrument to play, but it is definitely one of the most thrilling. The Tulsa Metro Pipe Band gives free lessons for beginners – everyone from teens to folks in their 70s.
And by the way, you don’t have to be Scottish to play the pipes. The Tulsa Metro Pipe Band has members from a wide array of cultural backgrounds. Bottom line: we welcome everyone!
